Guidelines

1. Conditions of Membership

• All membership dues shall be paid in a timely manner to the Secretariat of the MIER.
• Membership fees paid are not refundable.
• Members who have failed to ensure payment of fees within 6 months of its due date shall be automatically suspended and will be unable to participate in MIER events until membership is regularised.

2. Membership Fees

• Application must be accompanied by a membership fee of RM2500.00
• Renewal RM2500.00 per year.

  A copy of the bank transaction slip with details of payment is to be e-mailed to admin@mier.org.my
• For payment via cheque, please enclose a cheque (Number: ______________) amounting to RM___________ payable to MALAYSIAN INSTITUTE OF ECONOMIC RESEARCH.
• The Board of Directors may from time to time review the membership fees in a responsible and transparent manner.

3. Cancellation of Membership

• Any cancellation of membership shall be communicated via e-mail, either by the respective Member or an authorised representative of the Member or his/her organisation.
