On 11 February 2026, the Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER) formalised a strategic collaboration with TERAJU through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing held during the Teraju Aspirasi Outreach programme at M Resort Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, between approximately 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM, witnessed by Tuan Haji Akmal Nasrullah bin Haji Mohd Nasir, Minister of Economy, and Dato’ Indera Mohd Shahar bin Abdullah, with MIER represented by its Executive Director, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr Sulaiman Mahbob; the collaboration aligns with the broader commitment reinforced at TERAJU Aspirasi Outreach 2026 to empower Bumiputera companies through a shared vision of realising value creation, alongside the launch of four new programmes — ASCEND, ENHANCE, XCELERATE and the Bumiputera Strategic Acquisition Fund (BSAF) — which serve as phased development platforms to strengthen capabilities, enhance investment readiness and accelerate business scaling at national, regional and global levels, while the MoU between MIER and TERAJU complements wider strategic partnerships formed at the event to strengthen pathways for Bumiputera enterprises towards IPO readiness and capital market participation, reflecting a collective ecosystem effort involving industry players, strategic partners and high-potential firms in advancing inclusive economic growth under the Malaysia MADANI framework.
